Laguna Hills Little League has opened its season!  Hundreds gathered at the Community Center Fields on Saturday morning, February 24th, to watch as our spring ball players marched down the hill with VIP escorts and the accompaniment of the High School Band.  Once on the field, LHLL Board President, Brian Young, formally welcomed all of the players, their families, the 2018 Little League Board of Directors, the Mayor of Laguna Hills and honorary thrower of the first pitch as well as a  former Little League player to sing the National Anthem.

The outfield fences were adorned with sponsor banners and Brian noted how especially thankful the Laguna Hills Little League Board is for all of the support they have received.  Some of the vendors, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Charles Schwab were even on site giving out free sweet treats.

A good time was had by all and opening day games went off without a hitch.  The league is looking forward to a great season of baseball - playball!
