Laguna Hills Little League Striving to Raise $5,000

A few years back, Laguna Hills Little League almost ceased to exist.  There was massive debt associated with the replacement of field lights and ongoing costs related to field maintenance, equipment, registration, uniforms and more.  Many of the families that settled in the late 90's and early 2000's had grown out of Little League and new registrations slowed.  Then along came 3 mom-friends who loved baseball and knew the importance of keeping Laguna Hills Little League alive.  Each of them filled a different role on the board but they shared one thing in common -- their love for Laguna Hills and Little League.  They all believed in one town, one high school, one community and the benefit of having your child play baseball to build and enhance their leadership skills, character, loyalty and courage.

Now just a few short years later, LHLL has a new mission - to grow the league and to make it better!  We would like to expand our reach through a new marketing campaign at local schools.  In addition, we want to enhance our scholarship program so that all children have the opportunity to play.  We'd like to add more mentor skills clinics and new training equipment.  We are also seeking board members.  If you are interested in supporting our league, please consider donating to our Rally (click here) or attending our 2nd Annual Poker Night & Silent Auction (see flyer below for more information).
